Alnoor University Holds a Scientific Workshop on Hospital Efficiency and the Role of the World Health Organization in Improving Healthcare Performance

In the presence of Prof. Dr. Muwaffaq Ahmed Ali Al-Saydiyah, Dean of the College of Administrative Technologies at Alnoor University, the Department of Marketing and E-Sales Technologies at the College, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at the University Presidency, held a specialized scientific workshop on Monday morning, September 7, 2026, entitled (Evaluating the Efficiency of Hospitals in Iraq and the Role of the World Health Organization in Developing Healthcare Performance).
The workshop addressed a number of topics related to the current performance of healthcare institutions in Iraq, including mechanisms for assessing hospital efficiency. It also reviewed the role of the World Health Organization in supporting and developing healthcare systems and enhancing the quality of medical and health services in accordance with established standards and practices.
The workshop was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Hajar Basil Mohammed Saleh, while the lectures were delivered by Lecturer Madraka Dhnoon Yahya and Assistant Lecturer Zeina Hamid Rajab. They gave a scientific presentation addressing the key indicators and standards adopted in evaluating healthcare performance, as well as the importance of improving the quality of services provided to the community.
The organization of this workshop comes as part of Alnoor University’s commitment to enhancing scientific and training activities and linking academic disciplines with developmental and community issues, thereby contributing to the development of the skills of students and participants and broadening their knowledge in areas related to health management and institutional performance improvement.
