Alnoor University celebrates the first anniversary of the founding of the College of Engineering Technology

With the presence of Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Alhajar, President of Alnoor University, and Dr. Bashar Mahmoud Ali, Chairman of the University’s Board of Directors the Engineering Group celebrated on the morning of Monday, 3 November 2025, the first anniversary of the founding of the College of Engineering Technology
The celebration program included an opening session that highlighted the establishment of the college and its development during its first year through two speeches delivered by Prof. Dr. Yassin Taha Alhajjar, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Kamil Ali Abdul-Mohsen, Dean of the College of Engineering Technology. This was followed by a comprehensive video presentation depicting its current academic and scientific scene and the progress it has achieved in the fields of engineering education and training. The event also included honoring the assistant deans and the top first-year students, as well as the companies participating in the celebration through their special exhibitions, by presenting them with the university’s shields and certificates of appreciation and gratitude
Following the opening session, eight specialized exhibitions were inaugurated, including six exhibitions by specialized engineering companies participating in the event, in addition to three exhibitions showcasing the work of the college’s students, representing the outputs of its various departments, as a vivid embodiment of the students’ talents and their applied creativity
This celebration comes as a confirmation of the path of excellence adopted by Alnoor University in supporting its new colleges and strengthening the partnership between the academic sector and the industrial sector in a way that serves scientific and professional development in Iraq.
