Proceedings of the Opening Research Session of the Second International Scientific Conference on Media at Alnoor University

On the first day of the International Scientific Conference on Media, jointly organized by Alnoor University and the University of Mosul on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, four research papers were presented in the opening session. These included “The Impact of Technological Transformations of Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality on Military Media,” a joint study by Professor Dr. Lubna Khamis Mahdi, Director General of the Research and Development Department at the Ministry of Higher Education, and Professor Dr. Adhra Ismail Zidan, Head of the Capacity Building and Empowerment Department at the University of Baghdad; “A Journey in Media and Journalism from Undergraduate Studies to Doctoral Research” by Dr. Bella Belgarova from Russia; “Digital Communication Technology and Artificial Intelligence in Enhancing and Developing Children’s Cognitive Skills” by Dr. Abdulaziz Hamid Ali, a faculty member at Al-Noor University; and “The Role of Media in Shaping Public Opinion and Political Decision-Making” by Professor Dr. Jassim Ahmed Khudair, Head of the Media Department at the College of Arts, University of Mosul.
The opening session and the opening research session were marked by the presence of the Assistant Presidents of Alnoor University for Scientific and Administrative Affairs as well as the Deans of Engineering Technology, Administrative Technologies, and Applied Arts. In addition, a number of department heads from Alnoor University attended.
