The Deputy Minister of Higher Education for Scientific Research Affairs inaugurates the Alnoor Center for Cultural Heritage Preservation at Alnoor University.

The Old City of Mosul witnessed, on the afternoon of Saturday, July 19, 2025, the inauguration of the Alnoor Center for Cultural Heritage Preservation, affiliated with Al-Noor University. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Haider Abdul-Dhahad, Deputy Minister of Higher Education for Scientific Research Affairs. Accompanying him were Prof. Dr. Yaseen Taha Al-Hajjar, President of Alnoor University, and Dr. Bashar Mahmoud Ali, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees.The inauguration ceremony began with a visit to the Mosuli Heritage Museum affiliated with the university. The museum includes authentic representations of tools, devices, and documents dating back more than a century, reflecting the rich cultural life of the people of Mosul. After that, the Alnoor Center for Cultural Heritage Preservation was officially inaugurate The inauguration was also attended by Professor Dr. Ismail Abdulwahhab Ismail Assistant President of Alnoor University for Scientific Affairs.Dr. Nabeel Ahmed Jarjees And Dr. Nabeel Ahmed Jarjees, the Administrative Assistant to the University President. In addition to the deans of the Colleges of Health and Medical Technologies, Engineering, Technical Engineering, Administrative Technologies, and Arts. Along with several department heads and directors from the university administration and relevant departments in the governorate.
